Release sites needed – can you help?
Once tiny joeys in care reach a certain age and size, they need to move to outside enclosures ready to live in the wild, where they belong. Do you live on a quiet rural property, well away from busy roads, with no roaming dogs or neighbours that shoot wildlife? Would you like to look after wombats or kangaroos that are almost ready to return to the bush?
It’s not a big time commitment and you will be working with a LAOKO animal coordinator who will provide training and support. Assistance is available to build appropriate enclosures. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to register your interest. Please provide your name, address, size of property. Alternatively, you can phone us on 02 6456 1313 to discuss.
