BUSH FIRE APPEAL: DONATE TO HELP THE WILDLIFE OF THE SNOWY MOUNTAINS

Last summer’s bushfires have ravaged Australia, we lost over 1 billion animals nation-wide. Sadly the animals that are out in our national parks, nature reserves and forests are at their most vulnerable. Please donate to our bushfire appeal to help us protect and look after the wildlife in the Snowy Monaro Region and Kosciuszko National Park.

With limited resources we have no paid employees and run solely on volunteers. Our volunteers have an overwhelming work load answering emails, phones, arranging rescues and putting together the best action plan once we enter fire affected areas.

LAOKO is doing all we can to protect the animals in threatened or affected areas.

We need money to cover vet bills along with extensive medical supplies, milk formula, bottles, teats, heating pads and so forth. We have set up water and food drop-off areas within the affected areas so that the local wildlife that have survived will have access to food and water.

The area affected is extensive, and we are desperate for donations to help with our supplies – any amount you can put forward would be greatly appreciated.

We thank you for your support.

LAOKO is 100% not-for-profit and run by volunteers. Due to limited resources available to us LAOKO is currently not registered to offer tax deductions. However we are currently working towards achieving this.
